How Did You Find Us?: Scrub Radio DJ

A Bit About Me:: I have been a DJ on Scrub Radio for just over 2 years now. I am their only British DJ at the moment and have been for a while. I started out with one show ‘Red Alert’ which was all genres of ‘alternative music’ on the 9th May 2007. After a while of doing this show I got cocky and decided, yeah I will try a show that is totally alien to me.. This is where Neon Beatz comes in. I had no idea what electronica music was when I started the show and it didn’t do too well at first, the biggest hit was my Red Alert show. Now these days the tables have turned.

I have a small community, which I feel is like an online ’family’ in the chatroom (and out of it!) of Neon Beatz now, I built this up from nothing and now this show runs smoother and better than Red Alert. The ‘family’ always expands when a new member enters and the people of this show are friendly, from all around the world and a lot of collaborations have been produced between artists on the show!

I am currently thinking of re-launching Red Alert with a new name and bringing the genres down to more mellowed rock and metal (not the screamy, heavy stuff) and my newest project is ‘Bewitched’ it is an all female show.. (Ie: female fronted bands, girl bands, female artists etc)

Wednesdays 11pm til 1am (UK Time) - Red Alert.... Metal, Rock and a Mix of Various other Stuff

Thursdays 11pm til 2am (UK Time) - Neon Beatz.... Electronica Music.

I am also, looking to hook up Scrub Radio with their own Hip Hop show too.... H2-Yo!
